‘Anything Artsy’ is an evening where you can bring your own medium/media and get artsy! There will also be some materials provided by us and is a great opportunity to share your skills with others as well as learn some too! The entry fee is pay what you can and any donations are greatly received!

Wayward Jane’s music is a modern interpretation of American folk and Old Time traditions, blending roots music with fresh arrangements and original songs. Their rich sound features fiddle, clawhammer banjo, double bass, guitar, wooden flute and close vocal harmonies. Wayward’s live shows have a joyful energy, expressing the fine musicianship and playful chemistry of the four musicians and friends. Ranging in mood from bouncing, energetic tunes to tender and soulful songs, Wayward Jane tend to leave audiences with a glow in their hearts.

Wayward Jane have appeared together at folk clubs and festivals across the land, touring extensively in the UK and Ireland. They were recently featured live in session on BBC Radio Scotland’s Travelling Folk where Bruce MacGregor remarked “they’re just that bit different from anything else happening in Scotland!”

The band are busy members of the Edinburgh traditional music scene, playing in bands such as Brothers Gillespie, Dowally and Michael Starkey & Hannah Read, as well as collaborating with artists such as Rachel Baiman, Phil Alexander (Moishe’s Bagel) and Hog-Eyed Man.
They have released three albums – “Wayward Jane”, “Old Train”, and “The Flood”. The latter led to rave reviews, plays in Radio 6Music and a live performance on BBC Radio 4’s “Loose Ends”.

The alternative to the alternative of every alternative. Local alt-culture mainstay Kev Hough presents Worthing’s live underground Sunday event in all its glory. A great afternoon of the unexpected, the provocative, the searingly strange and the genuinely awesome. Line-up TBA (probably at the very last minute!) but always worth a visit for out-there sounds and visuals. It’s what Sundays are for.

Union’s Indie Disco returns to the Cellar Arts Club. Celebrating the finest and best ’90s indie & alternative sounds with DJ General Lee and guests. From Madchester, Shoegaze and Grunge to Britpop and Dance bangers.

These sessions are now smaller numbers to make it easier to draw with more space.

– We start the session off with 3 ,2 minute poses, followed by 4 ,20 mins and 1, 25 mins
– There are drawing boards , paper and a selection of art materials available to use

 I have created  an inclusive laid back art space for people to relax ,enjoy drawing, making art and following their passion .  -Its a lovely little art community- relaxed, fun untutored life drawing event. run TWICE a month-
There is a break of 10 mins halfway through for everyone to get a drink and enjoy a chat . At the end we enjoy putting our pictures on the floor (all though no pressure to do this) and enjoy looking at the different styles and art created.
This is the perfect event to encourage you if you would like to get back drawing, its a sociable nurturing environment with artists of all skill levels.
