The Defining Ten is where an artist/creative is invited to take us on a musical dot to dot journey of the tracks which have led them to who they are today. The evening will end with a unique performance and chance to meet then. Tonight we bring FYFE DANGERFIELD to Worthing. Most well known for Guillemots, the indie band behind the singles “Trains To Brazil”, “Annie Let’s Not Wait” and “Get Over It”, as well as the Mercury Prize-nominated debut album “Through The Windowpane” and its follow-up, “Red”. Fyfe released solo album “Fly Yellow Moon”, which contained a cover of Billy Joel’s “She’s Always A Woman” that was memorably used in a John Lewis TV advert. Guillemots reunited for two further albums “Walk The River” and “Hello Land!” before going on hiatus. Fyfe has continued to record and perform a variety of work, including composing the music for a stage adaptation of Diana Wynne-Jones’ “Howl’s Moving Castle”. He has a brand new single and live dates ib trhe offing. We’re very excited at bringing Fyfe to Worthing to listen to the songs and hear the stories, followed by a very special stripped back performance of material he’s been involved in. Tickets here: https://musicsaves.co.uk/product/the-defining-ten-with-fyfe-dangerfield/ Please note this is a ticketless event – you will need your order number/ email receipt to gain entry to the show.
