Local humourist John Lawrenson presents a film written by and starring himself: The Battle of Brighton.
Pensioner pugilist Dave `The Destroyer’ Dawson and his friends face their biggest fight yet! The Council wants to close their local care home and sell the land to property developers. By hatching a cunning plan, our heroes lure the Leader of the Council into a boxing contest in the hope of reversing their decision. Will their ingenious and diabolical plan succeed? Will Dave’s colostomy bag remain intact? Take your ringside seats at The Battle of Brighton!

Entry is FREE! Doors at 5pm. Film starts at 5:15pm. Event closes at 7pm but guests are welcome to remain in the venue for The Snakepit (Goth/Post-punk/New wave).
